Tea This Week — September 14, 2026
Deals
Checked this week (all seen on 2026-09-14, directly on each shop’s own site).
A quiet week on price. Both of the sales we flagged last Monday are still running unchanged, and nothing new opened. If you held off, you have not missed anything — and since neither shop posts an expiry, neither is worth panic-buying either.
Yunnan Sourcing US — black-tea clearance, week two
Every discounted item on Yunnan Sourcing’s On Sale Now page is still a black tea (红茶), and the list is identical to last week’s — same teas, same prices, nothing sold out. The deepest cut remains the Jin Jun Mei at roughly 25% off.
| Tea | Size | Was | Now |
|---|---|---|---|
| Imperial Grade Jin Jun Mei, Tong Mu Guan | 50 g | $14.75 | $11.00 |
| Wu Yi “Golden Peony Varietal” | 50 g | $14.00 | $12.00 |
| Feng Qing “Classic 58” Dian Hong | 100 g | $13.00 | $10.00 |
| Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong of Wu Yi | 100 g | $13.00 | $11.00 |
| Purple Needle Black Tea, Jing Mai | 100 g | $13.00 | $11.00 |
| Yi Wu Wild Arbor Assamica | 50 g | $11.75 | $10.00 |
| Feng Qing “Golden Pekoe #100” | 50 g | $11.50 | $9.50 |
| Tong Mu “Hua Xiang” Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong | 25 g | $9.75 | $8.25 |
| Imperial Yixing Hong (Spring 2023) | 25 g | $7.50 | $5.00 |
Three samplers are still marked down, and they remain the better entry point if you are not sure which of these styles you actually like: the Robust Yunnan Black Tea Sampler at $42 (was $52), the Lincang Dian Hong Sampler at $36 (was $44), and the Purple Tea Sampler at $39 (was $47.25).
Still stacking on top: free gifts and BOGO offers in five tiers starting at $45, and free US shipping on orders $75+ . The easy-to-miss fine print on the BOGO page: “You must add the BOGO item to your cart for the code to work!”
Tea Drunk — Da Hong Pao, still discounted
Unchanged from last week: Da Hong Pao (Great Red Robe) 大紅袍, Spring 2019 is the shop’s only markdown — 8 g packet $29 → $23, 32 g box $68 → $55. Both the “Spring 2019” and “Spring 2019 II” lots are included at the same prices.
Not on sale, but newly in stock
Seven Cups has its 2026 Anxi harvest on the shelf — the full Tieguanyin range, no discount but freshly landed: Tieguanyin Hong $18.25, Charcoal Roasted Tieguanyin $19.25, Old Bitter Tieguanyin $20.00, and Jin Guanyin from $14.75. For a roasted oolong, current-year stock matters less than it does for green tea — but the charcoal-roasted lots are usually best caught early, before the roast settles too far.
Old Ways Tea still reports only that its “2026 harvest is complete — black teas should arrive soon and oolong teas later in the year.” Worth a check in a week or two.
Everyone else
Red Blossom and White2Tea carry no active markdowns this week (we checked all 154 and 250 listed products respectively — zero discounted). Red Blossom’s standing offer remains free shipping on US orders $100+. TeaVivre and Verdant Tea blocked automated access for a second week; check those two by hand if they are on your list.
